I’m so glad you’re here!
As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I offer individual and couples therapy to help you reach your goals. I want to listen to your unique struggles, explore the different areas of your life that may be impacting these struggles, and compassionately challenge you so that you can experience growth and lasting change.
As a therapist, I use evidenced based strategies to help you along your journey. But make no mistake, we will laugh, cuss, and cry along the way. I want to help you identify the things that are no longer working for you and find the confidence to confront those barriers while strengthening the relationship you have with yourself, your partner, and your family.
Credentials & Background
I recieved my bachelors degree at Oklahoma State University in Human Development and Family Sciences with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I’ve known since the very first day of college orientation that I wanted to be a therapist.
I received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in addiction/substance use and recovery sciences at Texas Tech University. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Experiential Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I use a client-centered approach which means I use evidence based strategies that work the best for you because everyone is different.
Through research and personal experience, I can tell you that the connection you make with your therapist is a foundational piece of therapy. In my private practice I work mostly with young adults and couples dealing with anxiety, self-esteem, communication issues, and disconnection.
I can personally relate to so many of these issues and have firsthand experience being both a therapist and a client. I know just how hard it can be to take the first step towards working on these issues. I have also seen and experiencecd how rewarding it can be to manage your mental health and relationships with more confidence!
